July is a wonderful month for visiting Ireland.

A proper summer month, July in Ireland sees lovely sunny days and endless hours of daylight: this is the time of the month for summer dresses (sort of, see below), ice creams and days on the beach, albeit occasionally mixed with a rainy shower!

Packing for July in Ireland is relatively easy: while you cannot go full on summer clothing only, you will not need heavy coats, boots or other bulky items and will be ok with just an extra layer for chillier hours and a windbreaker / k-way type of jacket for days out.
