Christmas is a big holiday in Italy.

These peak on Christmas Day, the 25th of December, when a massive family lunch is traditional.

They cannot be redistributed, packaged or sold in any way shape or form – if you have a friend who’d like them, sent them onto this page and they can get them for free!

Irish Christmas traditions coloring pages

In Ireland, we celebrate Christmas by decorating Christmas trees both in private homes and public spaces.

Christmas trees are decorated probably the same way you may decorate them at home, with lights, Christmas baubles, and tinsel. People place presents under it!

On Christmas Day, kids find presents from Santa under the tree and families also exchange personal gifts at this time, usually before or after a big meal on Christmas Day (25th December)

Christmas is a time for cheer and sweets! Common Christmas desserts in Ireland are mince pies (Santa loves them! We always leave one for him on Christmas Eve!), ginger biscuits and Christmas Cake.

Christmas cake is often homemade and the making of the cake is a big tradition in many households!

Santa visits Ireland too! Kids here call him Santa, Santy or Daidi na Nollag (Father Christmas)

Ireland is largely a Christian country and celebrates the birth of Jesus with representations of the nativity and the manger.

I hope your kids enjoy these Irish Christmas colouring pages and have a wonderful holiday season!
